How to get a lift when you're too tired to work
Once upon a time, sleeping on the job could have cost you your job, particularly if you were an air traffic controller or in the military. Now, many progressive companies are encouraging people to power nap during business hours, have a break away from their desk and, at the very least, get a bit of fresh air.

 

Managing pregnancy and work
Congratulations on your pregnancy! This is a wonderful time in your life and one that should be embraced and enjoyed. Continuing to work is not harmful for you, or for your baby, though you need to ensure your health and safety at this time.

 

Position in the family
Our personality is formed by many influences, which can be summarised under two broad headings: nature and nurture. Nature refers to the genetic inheritance each of us receives from our parents (and their parents….), while nurture represents the environment in which we grow up, and experiences which occur along the way.
